iCamp Thailand can assist your school structure to plan, develop, coordinate and run the Duke of Edinburgh International Award program.

Let us run the Adventurous Journey or Residential Project component of the Award,
making organizing your Duke of Edinburgh’s program easy.

We make it simple by working alongside your school.

OWN YOUR DOFE AND CREATE YOUR PERSONAL PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES:

helping others, pushing yourself physically, gaining skills, exploring the countryside and, for Gold, going on a residential.

The Duke of Edinburgh program gives young people aged 14-24, the opportunity to develop themselves in scenarios they would not normally experience. The fun but challenging expeditions take young people out of their comfort zones, whilst building confidence, teamwork, life skills and friendships.

-A huge amount of fun.
-Develop and nurture your teamwork skills.
-Develop essential life skills including Communication, Decision-making, Problem-solving and Creative-thinking.
-Create new and lasting friendships.
-Increase yourself confidence.
-Break personal barriers to experience new heights to your own skills, talent and endurance.
-Great for your Resume and University Application.

Our organization can help run your Bronze, Silver or Gold Adventurous Journey camps. We make it easy to organize, providing you with the support, and guidance of developing and delivering the program. Let us take the hassle out of logistics, risk management and the delivery of your program, and allow teachers and school staff to focus on supporting their students whilst on camp.

The Residential Project offers Gold Award participants the chance to take part in a meaningful experience, incorporating a ‘purposeful’ project with an iCamp Journey-based program. Participants will join in both planning and delivery of their elected project, working closely with our Duke of Edinburgh Award leader’s locally in Thailand or internationally.
We also offer schools incursions, where we can provide students with student-led planning and preparation discussions for camp, demonstrations on trangia stoves, tent and outdoor equipment etiquette, topographical maps and outdoor navigation tools, leadership and development training, and fun interactive workshops and team building initiatives.

Our service is to support the goals and objectives of the schools and organizations that we work with. This begins with a strong and lasting relationship.
With this in mind, we offer in school, consultation discussions for coordinators wanting to establish the Duke of Edinburgh Award program, already running or thinking about developing new relationships with external providers within Outdoor Education.

Want some inspiration?

We’ve compiled a list of activities ideas for each section to inspire you. Or use it as a starting point to create your own bespoke DofE programme.
